Unsure about what to see in Budapest and how to structure a sightseeing tour?

If you're planning a trip to Hungary, don't miss out on Budapest sightseeing. If you don't know how to start planning, I can help!

You should definitely see it:

- Heroes' Square and City Park - one of the main jewels of the Pest side. In the square you can learn about Hungarian history and in the park there are important and interesting things to see.

- Opera House and Music Academy, Nagymező Street - the centre of culture, with pedestrian streets and cafés and restaurants. It's worth walking around and enjoying the atmosphere of noisy Pest.

- the right and left banks of the Danube, Margaret Island and the bridges - the Danube is in the middle of Budapest and gives the city its pulse! You can walk, but you can also sail here.

- the Royal Castle and the whole Old Town, with the famous Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church - the most important part of the Buda side

- Basilica and Parliament - 2 iconic buildings of the city not to be missed!

  • I always start my walk in Heroes Square because this is where you can really understand the history of the country and the Hungarian people!

  • Of course, it's worth visiting the Pest side first, then the Buda side, and end the walk at the Castle or Margaret Island, where you can take a break

If you want to be on the safe side, ask for a guide who will help you to structure your program in a logical and comfortable way! He or she will know how to

- where and how much time to spend,

- how to get around most easily,

- where to go to the toilets,

- what you need to know,

- where to find a real Hungarian restaurant or a good coffee.
